Laurey Sandler, the Director of Shoreline Speech Therapy, has over 30 years of pediatric speech therapy experience. She received a Master’s degree from Hofstra University in Speech/Language Pathology. In addition, she holds a Sixth Year Professional Diploma in Special Education with a concentration in Adaptive Technology from Southern Connecticut State University. Before beginning this private practice, she worked in Connecticut as a school speech and language pathologist in Hamden, Cheshire, Trumbull, Madison and North Branford. She also served as a speech and language pathologist for the hearing impaired population at Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick, MD. Furthermore, Laurey has also taught on the graduate level at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD and worked as a clinical supervisor to graduate students at Southern Connecticut State University.
She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech & Hearing Association as well as a license from the Connecticut Department of Public Health and a Professional Educators Certificate from the Connecticut Department of Education.
